Norwegian to open new pilot base in Dublin
Norwegian Air is hiring 40 pilots to fly from a new base it is planning to open in Dublin Airport later this year.
The airline, which launched services from Ireland to the north eastern US this summer, says that it plans to open a base in Dublin to support current routes and further international expansion.
“The base will initially include approximately 40 pilots but Norwegian is also exploring options for further pilot and cabin crew positions at the base next summer,” the carrier said yesterday.
Norwegian will begin recruiting pilots who hold Boeing 737 operational certificates with a roadshow for interested candidates at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin Airport. It plans further such events next month and in November.
