En­tre­pre­neur of year to be tele­vised

Be3, one of the TV3 group tele­vi­sion chan­nels, will broad­cast a five-part se­ries doc­u­ment­ing the EY En­tre­pre­neur of the Year com­pe­ti­tion.

The EY En­tre­pre­neur of the Year, with which The Ir­ish Times is a me­dia part­ner, is a global recog­ni­tion pro­gramme work­ing to pro­mote Ire­land’s high-growth en­trepreneurs. The new se­ries will showcase the en­trepreneurs and ex­plore their sto­ries. Premier­ing on Septem­ber 25th, the se­ries will air every Mon­day, build­ing up to the awards gala on Oc­to­ber 30th pre­sented by Mark Lit­tle and Aoib­hín Gar­rihy.

“EY, through En­tre­pre­neur Of The Year, has for the last 20 years, shown its com­mit­ment to sup­port­ing and en­cour­ag­ing the next gen­er­a­tion of en­trepreneurs and busi­ness own­ers in Ire­land. This is some­thing we can re­ally get be­hind,” said Bill Malone, TV3 Group di­rec­tor of pro­gram­ming.

Kevin McLough­lin, an EY part­ner, said: “Op­er­at­ing as an all-is­land com­pe­ti­tion al­lows us to work with the best en­trepreneurs Ire­land has to of­fer. We hope the se­ries gives view­ers a unique in­sight into some of the op­por­tu­ni­ties and chal­lenges, such as Brexit, fac­ing en­trepreneurs in Ire­land.”
