Three new out­lets for Lim­er­ick’s Cres­cent cen­tre

Lim­er­ick’s highly suc­cess­ful Cres­cent Shop­ping Cen­tre looks set to get a ma­jor boost with the open­ing of three new top-rated fash­ion out­lets: Gap, Su­perdry and Se­lected.

The in­ter­na­tional traders will be lo­cated in the city mall fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of ex­ten­sive re­fur­bish­ment works at a cost of about €15 mil­lion. Zone A rents in the Lim­er­ick cen­tre range from €150 to €160 per square foot.

Gap has al­ready opened in the largest of the three new stores, with a size­able floor area of 668.98sq m (7,200sq ft) to cater for men, women and chil­dren. The new Cres­cent out­let is the US cloth­ing com­pany’s fifth Ir­ish store. Three of the oth­ers are in Dublin and the fourth is in Cork.

Su­perdry, a vin­tage Amer­i­canand Ja­panese-in­spired cloth­ing brand with more than 400 stores in 46 coun­tries, has rented a 373sq m (4,026sq ft) out­let in the Cres­cent – its sec­ond in Mun­ster af­ter one in Patrick Street in Cork.

Se­lected, part of the Dan­ish Best­seller Group, plans to cater to men’s and women’s fash­ions when it fits out its new 208.5sq m (2,245 sq ft) Lim­er­ick store – its sixth in Ire­land

Joint let­ting agents Cush­man & Wake­field and JLL plan to an­nounce fur­ther trad­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties at the Cres­cent in the near fu­ture.
