It’s a fair bet, though, that there have never been quite as many group shows, and vari­a­tions on group shows, as there are this year. We are def­i­nitely spoilt for choice. that is pos­i­tively gen­er­ous in its terms and is worth check­ing out if you are any­where near Robert Street in the city. Many of the coun­try’s com­mer­cial gal­leries also know that po­ten­tial buy­ers need a good price-range and have re­sponded ac­cord­ingly. AIDAN DUNNE

In a way, Tem­ple Bar Gallery’s The Big Store sets the tone with its em­pha­sis on gen­er­at­ing a real buzz, not to men­tion af­ford­abil­ity, with prices start­ing at €5 (ad­mit­tedly get­ting as high as €5,000).
