It’s a fair bet, though, that there have never been quite as many group shows, and variations on group shows, as there are this year. We are definitely spoilt for choice. that is positively generous in its terms and is worth checking out if you are anywhere near Robert Street in the city. Many of the country’s commercial galleries also know that potential buyers need a good price-range and have responded accordingly. AIDAN DUNNE
In a way, Temple Bar Gallery’s The Big Store sets the tone with its emphasis on generating a real buzz, not to mention affordability, with prices starting at €5 (admittedly getting as high as €5,000).
