FABRIK Tivoli, Dublin Thurs 10pm ¤15/¤12 01-4544472 Fabrik have pulled out all the stops for their Valen­tine’s night de­but in Dublin with an in­trigu­ing bill of old and new elec­tronic gems.

For­mer Kraftwerker Wolf­gang Flur (left) is the main draw. Flur left the Kling Klang fold in 1987 and wrote a very re­veal­ing tome, I Was A Ro­bot, about his time with the Dus­sel­dorf dons. His for­mer pals Ralf Hut­ter and Flo­rian Sch­nei­der were not very happy about some of th­ese rev­e­la­tions .

In more re­cent years, Flur has col­lab­o­rated with Mouse On Mars and Pizzi­cato 5, made mu­sic as Yamo and spun tech-house and elec­tro in var­i­ous clubs. Fabrik’s other guests in­clude Dave Bell, the Soft Cell and The Grid man who has also worked with Kylie, The B-52s and Por­tishead; vet­eran spin­ner (and one-time Marc Al­mond ac­com­plice) Anni Ho­gan; and lo­cal elec­tro-pop mis­chief-mak­ers Neo­su­per­vi­tal.
