A clip of Australian comic Jim Jeffries getting punched in the face by an irate punter during a gig has so far amassed over seven million hits on YouTube. The clip is a good example of how Jeffries, with his brash and confrontational style, can sometimes push it just a bit too far. In his current show, 30, Jeffries talks about thirtysomething angst including how over the past few years he has narrowly avoided three bombs in Iraq (where he was performing) and has had a cancerous tumour removed.

Always arriving with lots of original material and a skewed view of the world that allows him to reach a different level of observation, Jeffries is invariably a delight.
