EASTER AT THE HELIX The Hip Hop Easter Bunny Show/Charlotte’s Web Sat 3pm 118/11 (Hip-Hop Bunny) Wed, Thurs 2.30pm & 6.30pm 125 adult; 119 children (Charlotte’s Web) The Helix, DCU, Glasnevin, Dublin 01-7007000 www.thehelix.ie The Helix in Dublin City University has scheduled a few theatrical treats for children over the Easter holidays. First up is The Hip Hop Easter Bunny Show tomorrow afternoon. Featuring a mix of traditional and newly composed music and song from musicians Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin and Mel Mercier, this interactive show is specifically aimed at younger children.

Watch out for crazy characters including a Giant Easter Egg and a Rapping Easter Bunny (below) and be prepared to join in the Easter Egg hunt.

Meanwhile, the acclaimed company Watershed Productions are on tour again with the dramatisation of EB White’s classic children’s tale, Charlotte’s Web.

Last shown in the Helix as the Christmas show for 2003, this production will undoubtedly attract a new batch of five to 10- yearolds. And, if it is as good this time as it was back then, the performances of the actors who play Charlotte, the spider and Wilbur the pig will be remembered by children for years to come.
