PADDY COURTNEY Vicar Street, Dublin Sat 123 0818-719390

Recently seen in TG4’s Paddywhackery comedy drama – a satire about all the large grants available in the country for doing things through the Irish language, Paddy Courtney (below) is one of the most versatile and entertaining comics on the circuit. Typically using a high-energy approach, he wanders over a variety of subjects to good comic effect, relying on the strength of his delivery and his enthusiastic stage presence. It’s highvelocity stuff; the material comes thick and fast, and with his natural performance skills, Courtney always guarantees a good show.
