The honky-tonk hall-of-fame train that is Lynyrd Skynyrd brought their Euro­pean Gods’n’Guns tour to an end in Dublin’s 02 on Wed­nes­day night. Johnny Van Zant, brother of the late Ron­nie, with found­ing mem­ber Gary Rosin­ng­ton, trucked through such hits as Gimme Three Steps, What’s That Smell and a won­der­ful ver­sion of Tues­day’s Gone, fin­ish­ing with the leg­endary Sweet Home Alabama and Free­bird, in a clas­sic rock’n’roll night.
