Oldies off the Oscars
Who saw this coming? After employing a couple of veterans last year – Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin – the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has, pointedly, opted for youth in its choice of presenters for the 2011 ceremony. The event will be hosted by chiselled James Franco (a relatively spry 32) and cave-mouthed Anne Hathaway (a box-fresh 28). Interestingly, each has a chance of a nomination this year. James Franco is odds-on to be shortlisted for 127 Hours. Hathaway is a decent outside bet for Love and Other Drugs.
