Dis­ap­point­ingly for both poles of the US po­lit­i­cal spec­trum, the Sarah Palin doc­u­men­tary, The Un­de­feated, per­formed nei­ther poorly enough to jus­tify gloat­ing, nor well enough to jus­tify, well, gloat­ing.

Di­rec­tor Stephen K Ban­non’s glowing de­pic­tion of the pres­i­den­tial hopeful’s “spir­i­tual battle” has been var­i­ously de­scribed as “clip art”, “an end­less se­ries of mean­ing­less plat­i­tudes”, “car­toon­ish” and likened to a “troop-ral­ly­ing cam­paign in­fomer­cial as imag­ined by Michael Bay”.
