At long last, Malick gets busy

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - News -

Now, this is just getting silly. You wait decades for a Terrence Malick film and then suddenly you can’t move for work by the admired director.

Later this year – unless Tree of Life- style delays set in – we should see Ben Affleck and Jessica Chastain in a still-untitled project, and Natalie Portman is to star in a further two Malick films, due in 2013. (The Blue Rider) Mesmerising, mighty electro-pop from the Sydney newbie, which should be blasting out from every radio station in the land. (Optimum) Ethereal folk tunes, alien fairy tales and psychedelic reels from Fairport Convention, Vashti Bunyan, The Free Design and many more, compiled by Mark Pritchard.

(Arista) It will be gems like this we will remember in years to come, rather than Liveline fuming about her 2010 02 gig.
