Release date for Fraser’s Brothers
After successful screenings at the Galway Film Fleadh and the Tribeca Festival, Paul Fraser’s My Brothers is finally making its appearance in cinemas. Following three Cork brothers as they travel across Ireland to replace their dying dad’s watch, the picture is being distributed by its producers, Treasure Films.
“We set out to make an intimate story of three brothers,” Fraser says. “We wanted it to feel real, honest and about them in their moment. We’re all so proud that it’s getting a release now after going down so well at its festival screenings.”
Fraser is best known for writing such Shane Meadows titles as A Room for Romeo Brass and Dead Man’s Shoes. The script for My Brothers is by first-timer Will Collins.
