Re­lease date for Fraser’s Broth­ers

Af­ter suc­cess­ful screen­ings at the Gal­way Film Fleadh and the Tribeca Fes­ti­val, Paul Fraser’s My Broth­ers is fi­nally mak­ing its ap­pear­ance in cine­mas. Fol­low­ing three Cork broth­ers as they travel across Ire­land to re­place their dy­ing dad’s watch, the pic­ture is be­ing dis­trib­uted by its pro­duc­ers, Trea­sure Films.

“We set out to make an in­ti­mate story of three broth­ers,” Fraser says. “We wanted it to feel real, hon­est and about them in their mo­ment. We’re all so proud that it’s get­ting a re­lease now af­ter go­ing down so well at its fes­ti­val screen­ings.”

Fraser is best known for writ­ing such Shane Mead­ows ti­tles as A Room for Romeo Brass and Dead Man’s Shoes. The script for My Broth­ers is by first-timer Will Collins.
