Robbie, we’ve been expecting you
IT MAY have taken him six years to honour his promise, but Robbie Williams will return to Dublin for a one-off gig next month. The sometime-Take That member will play at Dublin’s O on September 14th, with
2 all proceeds from the gig going to Unicef Ireland and Child line.
Williams’s last Irish gig was a disastrous event at Croke Park in 2006, during which a spectacular entrance went wrong and he had to halt the gig to be rescued by the stage crew. Afterwards, he promised to make it up to fans by playing a one-off gig in Dublin, but hasn’t toured in Ireland since. Next month’s is one of only four planned for the singer, who reportedly has a new album due out in the coming months.
What’s the catch? You have until midnight on Sunday to register your interest for two tickets at tickets.robbiewilliams.com. If your name is selected at random, you will be notified by midday next Tuesday, after which you can buy the tickets – which cost ¤35 – ¤45 plus booking fee.
