EVERYTHING’S IN PLAY

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - FUN& GAMES -

What happens when you blur the boundaries between the real world and a computer game universe? How do you create a game that millions of people will become addicted to – and do it all yourself? What is it that drives us to play, and how will that shape games of the future? Ireland is rapidly emerging as a global hub for animation and game development. GAME, the new exhibition in the Science Gallery at Trinity College Dublin, will take a closer look at the future directions for gaming in Ireland by exploring the components of a great game, speculating how we might play in the future, and empowering young people to become game developers. Opens today and runs until December 20th. sciencegallery.com/game
