York­son sets out his Mar­ket stall

Scot­tish mu­si­cian James York­ston will play a gig at Dublin’s Work­man’s Club next week­end as part of the venue’s Pros­per­ous Mar­ket event. The all-day mar­ket starts at 2pm next Satur­day, and will see var­i­ous stalls sell­ing hot food, cakes, vinyl, crafts, books, comics and more.

The mu­sic starts at 3pm and will run un­til 11pm, with

Work­man like: James York­son York­ston head­lin­ing a bill also features Ca­van song­writer Lisa O’Neill, his fel­low Fence Col­lec­tive co­hort Sea­mus Fog­a­rty, fid­dler Caoimhín Ó Raghal­laigh, poet Pat In­goldsby and more.

There will also be a com­pli­men­tary whiskey­tast­ing and sto­ry­telling event in the ad­join­ing Bi­son Bar dur­ing the day.
