The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - LISTINGS -

The Loose Collective are a sure-footed crew of international dancers and choreographers based in Austria. Their latest production, The Old Testament According to the Loose Collective, aims to make a living translation of the Old Testament by combining text sampling and baroque choir, beat-boxing and diaspora-postpunk, and rearranging bible verses into unexpected combinations. As the Bible doesn’t quite say: “They have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” One performance only at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin, tomorrow at 7.30pm. projectartscen

Submitting listings: Material for consideration for listings should be emailed to the relevant critic (name and email at top of each listing) at least two weeks before publication. All listings are understood to be correct at time of going to press. However, The Irish Times cannot accept responsibility for any changes. We strongly recommend that readers check details with the relevant venue.
