Plans are afoot to de­velop a film about the leg­endary Bri­tish math­e­ma­ti­cian Alan Tur­ing. The Im­i­ta­tion Game is to be adapted from a script by Gra­ham Moore and – if dis­cus­sions con­clude suc­cess­fully – will fea­ture the only Bri­tish ac­tor who could pos­si­bly pull it off. No, not Danny Dyer. The pro­duc­ers are cur­rently do­ing ev­ery­thing pos­si­ble to lure Bene­dict Cum­ber­batch to­wards the role. Hav­ing played Stephen Hawk­ing in a fine TV movie, the cur­rent Sher­lock could hardly be bet­ter suited.
