khushimu­ THEM SWOOPS Mel­bourne fuzz-pop duo Dave McGann and Chris Goff are al­ready off to a win­ning start with wig-out tunes such as Too Fast for Love to shout about. They’ve done a rake of sup­port slots and just fin­ished work on their de­but EP, Glim­mers. THE AL­TERED HOURS Hyp­notic, driv­ing psych-rock from the Cork band whose new Sweet Jelly Roll EP will be re­leased on A Records in April. The five piece’s ear­lier re­lease, Down­stream, is also worth check­ing out, es­pe­cially if you’re a fan of late 60s acid trips.
