Fassbender dons the Scottish Mac

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - NEWS -

We are not allowed to fully report the latest casting news involving busy Michael Fassbender. Let us just say that the Kerryman has become attached to a film version of a Shakespeare play involving witches, ambulatory forests and untrustworthy Scottish royalty. Due to begin filming tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow (well, later in the year anyway), the picture finds Natalie Portman taking on the dirty-handed female lead. The film is to be directed by Justin Kurzel, who helmed the terrifically sinister Australian serial-killer movie Snowtown and is currently shooting an adaptation of John le Carré’s Our Kind of Traitor. This all sounds good.
