Rock­ing the Writ­ers’ Fes­ti­val

The Dublin Writ­ers’ Fes­ti­val takes place at the end of this month, with a num­ber of events in the pro­gramme that will in­ter­est mu­sic fans. On May 24th, our own Tony Clay­ton-Lea will con­duct a pub­lic in­ter­view with for­mer Ev­ery­thing But the Girl vo­cal­ist Tracey Thorn at Smock Al­ley Theatre, and the next day chair a dis­cus­sion (with Sinéad Glee­son and Philip King) with mu­sic jour­nal­ist Do­rian Lynskey about his book 33 Rev­o­lu­tions Per Minute at Lib­erty Hall.

Young folk singer Lisa O’Neill will also play and dis­cuss her mu­sic at a free Fes­ti­val Club event at the Clarence Ho­tel on May 24th. dublin­writ­ers­fes­ti­val.com
