Kelly’s Wex­ford Film Fel­low­ship

The good peo­ple at the Wex­ford Film So­ci­ety have an­nounced that they are to in­duct John Paul Kelly, dis­tin­guished pro­duc­tion de­signer, into the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s Fel­low­ship. Mr Kelly, who hales from Ross­lare, has brought his magic to such pro­duc­tions as The Other Bo­leyn Girl, Venus, A Cock and Bull Story and, re­cently, Richard Cur­tis’s About Time. He has both a Bafta and an Emmy on his man­tel­piece. Pre­vi­ous re­cip­i­ents of the Fel­low­ship in­clude screen­writer Billy Roche and ac­tor Gary Ly­don.

The Wex­ford Film So­ci­ety’s lat­est sea­son of world cin­ema, fea­tur­ing such treats as Rust and Bone, The Hunt and Blan­canieves, kicks off on Novem­ber 5th with a screen­ing of Good Vi­bra­tions.
