What’s on your rider? shane kinsella from The minutes
What’s on your rider? Loads of towels, selection of world beers, cans of Guinness and a framed picture of Elvis.
What would be on your fantasy rider?
More towels. What’s the best gig you’ve attended –
and why? LCD Sound system in Tripod. It was a whole experience. In the middle of the show the band stopped and just let this high pitch sound go on and on for ages. The crowd just cheered, which got louder and louder until the band kicked back in again. Amazing.
And the worst – and why? Way too many to mention, I tend to stay away from a band I don’t really care about. Tour bus bunks, hotel rooms or couch-surfing? Bus bunks and hotel rooms. I’m too good for a couch. Tour bus tunes? Which are your ones for the road? AC/DC, ZZ Top, Pop Levi, Tame Impala. Chatting between songs – good or bad, and why? Bit of both. No chatting until
after the third song, though.
How big is your entourage? Pretty small. Simon (our tech) is our entourage. While on tour, do you do your own
laundry? Of course. Things get smelly, and I wouldn’t do that to anyone.
Do you like to meet and greet fans
after the gig? Always. They are the reason we are there. After the show at the merch desk you should find us.
Any useful stage tips? Be the best. What on-tour luxury would you like the most? My own bed and my own girl. What’s your best tour story? I’m still waiting to tell a good story. Loads of things I can’t tell right now, though.
