Like J-LO, Ailbhe Malone isn’t afraid to fall and try again

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - COVER STORY -

TRACK OF THE WEEK: I Was Gonna Cancel by Shimmery synth bass? Handclaps? A song so featherlight that you wonder how it’s still in your head? Gotta be Pharrell, right? Correct. Disco Kylie is back, and we’ve never been happier to see her. In strange pop aspiration news,

wants to open a flower shop. Rita told the Daily Mirror: “I want to own flower shops, I love flowers. I love organising them and I love flower arranging – it’s so relaxing. You cut, you rip, you zip.” Fret not, it’s not all blooms. Rita’s also made some good investments, she reveals. “My sister and family overview the whole thing. It’s a nice little empire – I’m trying to create something so my family can be alright.”

Meanwhile, knows her own mind, she tells Billboard magazine. “I am fearless with love; you have to be. You can’t be afraid to fall and try again; That’s not just in love, that’s in life. You have try and keep pushing. It’s not an easy road but you have to keep going every day. You’re almost there and all of a sudden, you’re there.” She went on: “I feel the same way about love; you have to keep pushing through and eventually there will be light.”

Amazing quote time. (who is – as we all know – Miley Cyrus’s godmother) has spoken to Access Hollywood about her godchild. “I worry a lot because she’s like my . . . she’s like kin folk, although we’re not related, we really feel like family. I’ve loved Billy Ray since he came on the scene and we worked a lot together. And I was there when Miley was born and I just loved her. I’ve watched her through the years.”

Dolly went on: “She’s so talented, she’s so smart. I’m gonna trust her. I’m just gonna hope for the best, and I think she’s extremely talented, extremely smart. And, I hope her decisions are the right ones down the road for her. And if not, I’ll still love her.”
