A new fes­ti­val ded­i­cated to Leonard Co­hen aims to at­tract fans from around the world to Dublin later this year.

The Leonard Co­hen Event is a trav­el­ling bi-an­nual fes­ti­val that will stop off at Dublin’s Lib­erty Hall from Au­gust 7th to 10th. It prom­ises a pro­gramme filled with mu­sic, film and lit­er­a­ture for fans of the Bard of Mon­treal. Some of the high­lights will in­clude an exclusive screen­ing of pre­vi­ously-un­seen tour footage from 2013, an af­ter­noon of spo­ken word fea­tur­ing sev­eral au­thors and poets, and a mu­sic pro­gramme that in­cludes in­ter­na­tional acts in­ter­pret­ing Co­hen’s songs.
