EXHIBITION EVERYTHING FLOWS

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - LISTINGS -

Bernadette Kiely was a good friend of the late Barrie Cooke. In fact he originally built the studio she works in in Thomastown, and he worked productively there for some time. “Everything flows…”, a quote from the philosopher Heraclitus, was a favourite of Cooke’s but it applies as well to her practice of recording in her paintings the day to day changes that she observes in her immediate environment on the banks of the River Nore. Kiely’s recent work is a tribute to Cooke. Taylor Galleries, 16 Kildare St, Dublin, Mon-Fir 10.30am-5.30pm, Sat 11am-3pm Until July 21 taylorgalleries.ie
