Dún Laoghaire Un­der­ground

The fifth Un­der­ground Cin­ema Film Fes­ti­val opens on Septem­ber 11th in Dún Laoghaire with Gar­ret Daly and Martina McG­lynn’s pe­riod drama A Nightin­gale Fall­ing.

The event closes with Jeff Doyle’s com­edy Jack and a Ralph Plan a Mur­der on the 14th. An ar­ray of in­ter­na­tional fea­tures will be on dis­play and the Cin­ema will be bring­ing a drive-in to the Ferry Ter­mi­nal in that his­toric port.

Pulp Fic­tion, The Ter­mi­na­tor, Blaz­ing Sad­dles and Fight Club are among the films to be screened in the open. Neil Jor­dan will be vis­it­ing to host a Q&A after a show­ing of In­ter­view with a Vam­pire. If you fail to catch A Nightin­gale Fall­ing at the event, it will be on limited re­lease from next Fri­day.
