THE GRAND BUDAPEST SOUR We’re a sucker for a bit of Hollywood glamour, so this film-inspired concoction caught the eye on the Dublin Liquor Room’s cocktail list. The Grand Budapest Sour has a somewhat honeyed edge to its whiskey and vodka tinged kick.
30ml vodka 20ml Cherry kirsch syrup 20ml lemon juice 10ml sugar syrup 10ml Drambuie Shake all the ingredients together without ice, then shake again with ice. Double strain the mixture, and garnish with some fresh black pepper. The lemon flag does no harm either.
15ml egg white One dash each of plum and chocolate bitters
