Just three weeks ago, The Ir­ish Times and Dublin The­atre Fes­ti­val de­cided to find out, and de­vised The Arc. Tom Murphy be­gan the project with a short scene, and we asked nine other play­wrights to follow, one after the other. Sonya Kelly, Deirdre Ki­na­han, Enda Walsh, Bush Moukarzel, Bro­kentalk­ers, Stacey Gregg, Michael West, Genevieve Hulme-Bea­man and Kate Hef­fer­nan have all pitched in. Annabelle Comyn will di­rect a re­hearsed read­ing of the Franken­stein script, with a top-billing cast of Ni­amh McCann, Kate Stan­ley Bren­nan and De­clan Con­lon.
