ART Stephen Lawlor: Some untidy spot

Stephen Lawlor takes some well-known works by Titian, Poussin and others and “reimagines them in a contemporary context”. Students used to learn by copying from the masters, and this body of work is a refreshing take on that tradition, offering an insight into images we may have grown overly used to looking at.

He’ll be playing songs from this year’s Benji album, much praised by Pitchfork among many others.
