ART Stephen Lawlor: Some untidy spot

Oliver Sears Gallery, Dublin Until Jan 8 oliversearsgallery.com Classical European painting: the remix. Stephen Lawlor takes some well-known works by Titian, Poussin and others and “reimagines them in a contemporary context”. Students used to learn by copying from the masters, and this body of work is a refreshing take on that tradition, offering an insight into images we may have grown overly used to looking at.
