Re­gain­ing cre­ative con­trol of the band he formed, Ian Par­ton’s modus operandi for The Go! Team’s fourth al­bum marks a back to ba­sics ap­proach fol­low­ing a four-year hia­tus. Writ­ten and recorded on his own, Par­ton in­vited a se­lec­tion of transat­lantic fe­male singers to sup­ply vo­cals with the goal of em­pha­sis­ing the in­her­ent melody in his songs.
