“The songs we have on the album are a reflection of who I was more than several years ago, so it’ s only when I look at them from a distance that I can figure the mout.
“I remember feeling that I was a bit of a loner, a bit alienated, disenfranchised. Music and writing songs were my outlets, my escape.
“Since then, I’ ve come tore ali se there are thousands exactly like me; the proof is that they’ re listening to the songs, because we regularly get messages from people than king us for them. That blows me away, and I suppose I feel that – it’s possibly quite small compared to others–I’ m contributing something.
“Ofcourse, this has happened tome so many times with bands and artists – it’s like the song is about my life, and me. Some people have no idea how cathartic that can be.”
