Jean Si­belius( 1865-1957)–Oneof the last great ro­man­tics, Si­belius’ s lush com­po­si­tions helped de­fine the Fin­nish char­ac­ter.

Aki Kau­ris­maki( 1957-)– The di­rec­tor of such off-beat mas­ter­pieces such as The Match Fac­tory Girl and The Man With­out a Past is a con­tender for great­est liv­ing F inn.

Li­nus Tor­valds( 1969-)– Tor­valds is essen­tially the creator of the Linux oper­at­ing sys­tem ker­nel. Orig­i­nally

de­vised for his own PC, it now runs most mega com­put­ers.

Mika Häkki­nen( 1968-)– The Finns ar­eas dis­pro­por­tion­ately ad­dicted to mo­tor rac­ing as are the North­ern Ir­ish. Häkki­nen wont wo For­mula One cham­pion ships in the late 1990s.

Maila Nurmi( 1922-2008)–It­was N ur mi who cre­ated the im­mor­tal, su­per-camp y Vam­pira int he 1950s. Seen in Plan 9 from Outer Space.
