Horse- lovers look­ing for a late sum­mer ex­cur­sion will be pleased to learn about the Fethard Horse Coun­try Mu­seum in CO Tip­per­ary. Fethard is well known for its links with thor­ough­bred horse rac­ing and the in­ter­ac­tive ex­hi­bi­tion brings the evo­lu­tion of Ire­land’s world- class blood­stock in­dus­try to life. The mu­seum of­fers vis­i­tors the op­por­tu­nity to dis­cover the rich cul­ture and her­itage of the re­gion, and has many ex­hibits in­clud­ing the skele­ton of one of the most suc­cess­ful stal­lions of all time, Cool­more sire Sadler’s Wells.
