Diet. Even the word itself makes me feel empty and deprived. If you’ve fallen prey to fad diets at any point in your life, you’ll know how disappointingly ineffective they can be. Can changing our mindsets around food help us find a long- term system of managing our weight in a healthy way? Love Yourself Slim is a two- day weight management workshop led by nutritional therapist Elsa Jones and clinical hypnotherapist Fiona Brennan that aims to help you investigate your relationship with food way beyond the fad diet into emotional eating, self- compassion and your thought patterns around food. The workshop will take place at the UCD O’Brien Centre for Science on the Stillorgan Road, Belfield, Dublin 4 from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, September 30th and Saturday, October 7th.
