High rise for J Lo in $15.3m home in world’s tallest condo
Oh the lives of the rich and famous. Rack rents won’t be bothering Jennifer Lopez any time soon as news emerged this week of her purchase of a swanky new apartment in Manhattan for ¤12.4 million ($15.3 million).
Singer and actress J Lo and her retired baseball player boyfriend Alex Rodriguez bought their first home together at 432 Park Avenue, the world’s tallest residential tower with 85 floors.
Running to 4,000sq ft and three bedrooms, the premium price paid for the the apartment is primarily for the exceptional loca- tion, with its sweeping views of Manhattan and Central Park.
Residents also have access to a further 30,000sq ft of amenities, including a lounge, a private restaurant, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and a venue, according to listings website StreetEasy.
Meanwhile, J Lo has placed her former home on the market, a penthouse at the Whitman building just north of Madison Square Park. She purchased the four bed apartment over two floors for $20 million in 2014 and is now listing it for $26.95 million.
