1 Ire­land: The Le­gionar­ies of Christ owns two schools in Kil­croney, near Bray, Co Wick­low. It had a novi­tiate on Leop­ard­stown Road, Co Dublin, from 1968 to 2011. Fr An­thony Ban­non was ap­pointed su­pe­rior of the order in Ire­land in 2011.

2 Mex­ico: The Le­gionar­ies of Christ was founded here in 1941 by Mar­cial Ma­ciel De­gol­lado, its gen­eral di­rec­tor who was forced to step down in 2005. The order owns uni­ver­si­ties and schools in Mex­ico. Fr Ban­non lives there.

3 Ber­muda: Lo­ca­tion of two com­pa­nies in the Par­adise Pa­pers, the ben­e­fi­cial owner of which was the Le­gionar­ies of Christ.

4 Bri­tish Vir­gin Is­lands: Lo­ca­tion of the com­pany ECYPH Ltd, which the Par­adise Pa­pers show owned one of the com­pa­nies in Ber­muda.

5 Panama: Fr Ban­non was on the board of three com­pa­nies in Panama es­tab­lished by Ma­ciel in the 1980s to own the order’s valu­able as­sets.

6 Rome: Via Aure­lia is the ad­dress of the Le­gionar­ies of Christ in Rome, which ap­pears in the Par­adise Pa­pers in re­la­tion to com­pa­nies in Ber­muda and Bri­tish Vir­gin Is­lands.

7 Rhode Is­land: Lo­ca­tion of two court pro­ceed­ings con­test­ing the will of Gabrielle Mee, who left $40 mil­lion to the le­gion.
