JUVENILE FOOTBALL:

The reschedule­d child protection and welfare course will take place on this coming Thursday night at 7pm. Please note that this course is mandatory if you are training an underage team in the coming year. Trainers from both the hurling and football clubs will be attending this training.

Minors; Our Minors were beaten in the town league last week by Na Gael.

Trainers; We are still actively seeking volunteers to come on board with the Club for the season ahead. If you are interested, please speak to any of the Club officials.

COMMUNITY GAMES:

Everybody in Ardfert and Kilmoyley Community Games would like to offer their sympathy to Eddie Morrison on the passing of his dad Doctor James Morrison. May he rest in peace.

U13 Girls Futsal, training continues on Sunday evenings in Ardfert Community centre from 6 to 7pm. Please bring shinguards and €2 for the hall.

Tag Rugby Training for boys and girls U11 and U14 in Banna Astro Turf Sunday evenings from 5 to 6pm.2 euro for use of pitch.

ST BRENDAN’S AC:

The primary schools’ indoor games take place this Wednesday evening in Causeway Hall from 6pm to 8pm. The events are sprints, long jumps, speed bumps and relays. Classes from first to sixth are invited to attend. Phone 087 7985557 for details.

The county indoor sportshall games for U9 to U12 take place this Saturday in Milltown, starting at 11am. St Brendan’s will be strongly represente­d.

This coming Saturday, Ursula Barrett will represent the club in the postponed national masters’ championsh­ips in Athlone, in sprint, long jump and 200m. Good luck to Ursula.

Well done to Zach Walshe who was presented with his Ultra Marathon wristband for completing 50 junior Parkruns in Tralee on Sunday. Zach has the highest number of completed Parkruns for the area. Road runners are reminded that St Brendan’s AC host the Maurice Collins 4 mile fun run on Sunday April 1st. Details will be announced shortly.
