McGirr Cup final beckons for The Sem

ST Brendans College made the long journey to Ferbane last Saturday.
The Paul McGirr Cup is presented to the U16.5 A football winners. St Pats Cavan blitzed through the Ulster campaign with a strong running team. The management and players of St Brendans College were ready for a fantastic battle on the day.
Two well drilled teams produced a superb display of football. The scoring power of the Kingdom school attack proved crucial to the result. Dylan Callaghan and Darragh Donoghue raised green flags to decide the outcome.
The team showed massive heart and desire to reach the All Ireland final. Thanks to the large band of supporters that travelled to Ferbane. It was much appreciated by players and management.
Roll on the final fixed for March 31.
