ARDFERT

COUNTY LEAGUE - Ardfert travelled to Listowel on Sunday last to take on the locals in the first round of Div Two. Ardfert were very much in charge in the first half and were ahead 1-9 to 0-4 at half time. They had two goals disallowed in this half, but were always in control. Listowel upped their performance in the second half and came within three points of Ardfert. A tough battle ensued but Ardfert were up for it and pulled away to win comfortably in the end. Final score Ardfert 1-17 Listowel 1-9.
