Society held their recent outing at Ardagh Golf Club, Saturday 7th July in beautiful conditions.

The results are as follows : 1st place Martin "Rickie Fowler" Stackpoole with 37 points 2nd place Nealie Sullivan 32 points 3rd place Padraig Fitzmauric­e 32 points 4th John Carroll 31 points F9 Tom Lynch with 19 points B9 Ann Devaney 18 points Prizes will be presented in the Dew Drop Inn Lixnaw on 11th of August

The winners of the darts in Parker’s Lounge Bar , Kilflynn on Saturday 30th June were Mike Fealy and David Bennett who defeated J.P Twomey and Micheal O’Sullivan in the Final. The winners received a leg of lamb each. The winners of the darts in Parker’s Lounge Bar , Kilflynn on Saturday 7th July were Eileen Brennan and John Leahy who defeated J.P Twomey and Michelle Quirke in the Final. The winners received a leg of lamb each. The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday 14th July at 10.30p.m in Parker’s Lounge Bar. The winners will receive a leg of lamb each. All names in for 10.20p.m.

A wonderful and joyful occasion celebrated by many parishione­rs he became the first priest to be ordained in the Diocese of Kerry since 2007. Fr. Sean Jones’s ordination was held in the Church of the Assumption Moyvane in a ceremony presided over by Bishop Ray Browne. We would like to wish Fr. Jones the very best in his future ministry.
