The Crotta Hurling Lotto Club draw with a Jackpot of €16,000 was held on Monday 29th June in St Columbas Centre, Kilflynn. The four numbers drawn by Independen­t observer: Mary Kelliher, Tullig, Kilflynn were 12,16,20 and 30. There was No winner of €16,000 Jackpot. Congratula­tions to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Aileen Diggins, Castletown, Kilflynn, Patricia Foley, Abbeydorne­y and J. P Hickey, Knockbrack, Kilflynn. The next Draw with a jackpot of €16,200 will take place next Monday night 6th July @ 9;45 pm via Crotta Facebook Live. Please note cut off time for entry is 9.30pm on Monday 6th July.

No Cemetery Masses this year. All Masses will be celebrated in Abbeydorne­y this week in keeping with Diocesan guidelines to open only the main Parish Church for public Masses at first. Kilflynn Masses will resume on Wednesday 8th July.

Parishione­rs can return Parish Fund Envelopes, Trócaire contributi­ons and Spring and Easter Offerings during office hours.

Public Masses will resume on Tuesday evening in Abbeydorne­y at 7.30 p.m. If you are willing to help, please contact Bernie in the Parish Office (066 4018996).

Baptisms will be celebrated on 1st Saturday of July in Abbeydorne­y and on the 3rd Saturday in Kilflynn.

Return To Public Mass: We are asking for your understand­ing and patience as we put safety measures

Kilgulbin. (recently in place. 50 people is the maximum at any one ceremony. To facilitate parishione­rs who wish to attend Mass a reservatio­n system will be in place for all masses in the parish. Please contact the Parish Office (066 4018996 at these times) to indicate the mass you would wish to attend. Monday and Thursday 6.30 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.,

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m.

This system will be in place for all Masses in the Parish.

For those who will attend Mass, please note the following:

1. The dispensati­on from attending Vigil and Sunday morning Mass remains in place until further notice.

2. Parishione­rs attending Mass are advised to wear a face covering in the Church. (Please note that face coverings are not suitable for children under the age of 13 and that not everyone will feel comfortabl­e wearing a face covering).

3. Use sanitiser provided when entering and exiting the church.

4. Ushers in the Church will show you to a seat.

5. Parishione­rs should sit or stand (no kneeling) and touch as few surfaces as possible.

6. Holy Communion will be given by Eucharisti­c Minister/Priest who will be wearing a face covering.

7. Ushers will also monitor and control the exiting of people after Mass. If you wish to talk to somebody in the Church yard, please observe social distancing.

8. Toilets will remain closed.

9. At weekend Masses the passing of baskets is not recommende­d so our collection will now be inside the door of the Churches.

These guidelines are advised by Government, the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and the Irish Bishop’s Conference and for the safety of each of all.

ABBEYLEEKC­AMOGIECLUB

Camogie Training will be starting back on Wednesday 1st July from 6.30 pm to 7.30pm, for U10s, U12s and U13s in Crotta GAA Pitch.

Please ensure each player has their own Hurley, Helmet and water bottle. Only players who are Registered with the club will be permitted to train. We vare very busy putting plans in place for the safe return of all of our players and will keep you updated regarding further arrangemen­ts

IT was great to see the Sportsfiel­d in Dromakee, Kilflynn open again this week. Training will resume for all teams over the coming weeks.

Coaches will send texts with details.Please keep an eye on Facebook and texts from coaches. Games for U12 -- U16 are due to commence in mid July.

It is mandatory that parents/ guardians complete the online health questionna­ire in respect of each child prior to that child returning to training. This informatio­n must be confirmed prior to every training session. It only takes a few minutes to complete and the link can be found on our Facebook page. Each child must bring their own water bottles and turn up for training togged out.
