Tig Bhric short­listed for na­tional award

TIG Bhric in Ri­asc has been short­listed for the Vint­ner’s Fed­er­a­tion of Ire­land Pub of the year Award in the In­no­va­tion cat­e­gory.

The pub which is over 100 years in ex­is­tence is run by Adri­enne Hes­lin, who was a founder in 2008 of Beoir Chorca Dhuib­hne, the first mi­cro brew­ery in Kerry. Her beers are sold in the pub as well as shops, pubs and restau­rants in West Kerry, and in se­lected premises in Dublin and Cork in­clud­ing the fa­mous Palace Bar in Dublin.

Tig Bhric is also renowned for its mu­sic ses­sions, artis­tic decor and con­vivial at­mos­phere.
