ACARD, the local developmen­t Co. are proposing to put a statue of Daniel O’ Connell on the church grounds. All submission­s are now on public view at The Old Barracks. Please feel free to come and view same.

MIKE MURPHY CYCLE:

Thanks to the organising committee for their sterling work over the last few months, to the volunteers who gave up their time to serve in the food stations and marshall the roads for your safety. The lead and support car drivers, the mechanical service vehicle and the motorcycle marshals. An Garda Siochana for motorcycle lead and squad car support, the Civil Defence for the ambulance, the photograph­ers, all our sponsors and Cahercivee­n Marina for the venue. Looking forward to seeing you all back next year.
