Another award for chef Shaun
IT’S all happening for the Chapeltown chef Shaun O’Connor in recent times. Shaun received the prestigious Catex Exhibition Award last year.In addition to this he was recently awarded a bronze medal at the Chef Ireland National Competitions of Food and Beverage Live 2018 in the City West Hotel, Dublin, in which he took part in the Irish Junior Lamb Competition.
Shaun’s dish consisted of roasted rump of Kerry Lamb, celeriac and cashew nut puree, fondant potato, crisp caipers, golden raisin puree, roasted sweet salsify, panko cured liver with a madeira and barley jus. Congratulations and well done to him.
