Time to dust off the clubs again

-

THE months between November and March are for many, a period away from golf, mainly because of the weather and in the past, I must admit that I was one of those who didn’t pick up a club from Halloween until after St Patrick’s Day.

However, I did play golf this winter right through November and December and although I haven’t been on the course since just before Christmas, I have been visiting the range on a weekly basis, so I’m giving myself a pat on the back for effort anyway.

So, if you’re one of those hibernating golfers who puts the clubs away at the end of October, now is the time to take them out of the garage or the shed, dust them off and head to the range to iron out the creases in your swing before the season gets fully underway.

There’s a new flood-lit range open in Tralee where you can go during the day or after work in the evenings and a huge bucket of balls is great value at just €5, so you have no excuse.
