Hospice Coffee Morning earns impressive €4,461
IRELAND’S Biggest Coffee Morning which is sponsored by Bewley’s is one of the major fundraisers for Hospice nationally.
Thursday, September 20th was the date of this year’s event and the Castleisland fundraising branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation hosted its event at the former Milano Boutique on Lower Main Street and at Jack Shanahan’s Haven Pharmacy at Garvey’s SuperValu.
The branch also invited people to host an event in their own homes or businesses and several people did.
Members of branch now wish to thank everyone who helped out, donated or held a coffee morning. Proceeds from the combined events came to €4,461.00.
The branch also wish to thank people for recent donations received amounting to €3.045.
All funds raised locally will remain in Kerry and go towards the ongoing expenses incurred in the running of the palliative care centre at University Hospital Kerry.
