Pre­sen­ta­tion TY stu­dents im­press­ing the Dragons

TRALEE’S Pre­sen­ta­tion Sec­ondary School, hosted it’s an­nual ‘Dragons Den’ ses­sion in the school this week with aorund 50 Tran­si­tion Year stu­dents pitch­ing busi­ness ideas to the judg­ing panel.

The TY stu­dents have been brain­storm­ing and gen­er­at­ing their ideas in enterprise class since the start of Septem­ber – some in groups and oth­ers work­ing alone – and on Mon­day it was fi­nally time to pitch their busi­ness con­cepts to the Dragons.

This year’s judg­ing panel was com­prised of AIB’s Juli­ette Har­ring­ton; Com­mu­nity Garda Ai­dan O’Ma­hony and Lisa Car­roll from the Lerry Lo­cal En­ter­pise Of­fice.

The stu­dents all re­cieved ex­cel­lent feed­back which they’ll be us­ing to fur­ther de­velop their busi­ness ideas over the rest of the year with a view to pos­si­bly get­ting some of their prod­ucts on the mar­ket.
