TRALEE’S Presentation Secondary School, hosted it’s annual ‘Dragons Den’ session in the school this week with aorund 50 Transition Year students pitching business ideas to the judging panel.
The TY students have been brainstorming and generating their ideas in enterprise class since the start of September – some in groups and others working alone – and on Monday it was finally time to pitch their business concepts to the Dragons.
This year’s judging panel was comprised of AIB’s Juliette Harrington; Community Garda Aidan O’Mahony and Lisa Carroll from the Lerry Local Enterpise Office.
The students all recieved excellent feedback which they’ll be using to further develop their business ideas over the rest of the year with a view to possibly getting some of their products on the market.
