The yearly appeal has been a great success in previous years with hundreds of children from less well off families in Tralee and its surrounding areas receiving toys thanks to thousands of Euros in donations.

To help a child in need all you need do id drop into Caballs Toymaster on Bridge Street in Tralee and buy a special voucher –for any amount.

All the money raised will then go to St Vincent de Paul who will use it to buy toys and gifts from a wish list submitted by local children. If you wish you can also buy a toy on the list.

Anne Laide of Caballs said she and her staff were delighted to be able to help St Vincent de Paul and they are absolutely determined that no child should go have to go without a toy on Christmas morning.

Anne Laide with staff and friends launch the annual Caballs Toymaster Tralee Toy Appeal in aid of St Vincent de Paul on Saturday morning.
