Thieves getting in early preparations for Christmas

The Kerryman (Tralee Edition) - - NEWS - BY SINEAD KELLEHER

It would appear that Tralee criminals are getting into the Christmas spirit a little earlier than usual this year. In the last week thieves targeted Christmas decorations in a burglarly in a house in Tralee town.

More than €600 worth of Christmas decorations including two identifiable decorations of Santa Claus on a motorbike and of a Santa on a house were stolen from the house in the town centre, located not far from Tralee Garda Station.

The house was unoccupied when the thief or thieves broke in and stole all the Christmas decor which also included many traditional decorations. Nothing else was taken in the break-in.

Gardaí are investigating the break-in, which occurred between September 4 -8 and are appealing for any information on the stolen items. Tralee Garda Station can be contacted on 0667102300.
